From 16–22 March 2026, the Frankston Street Art Festival transforms the city centre into a week-long open-air gallery and at the heart of it, Bayside becomes your front-row invitation to experience it all.
This year, nine large-scale murals ignite the Frankston CBD with colour, culture and creative energy. But if you’re looking for the pieces that anchor the experience, the works that invite you to pause, look closer and feel something, you’ll find them here at Bayside.
The art festival is transforming the city into an open air gallery, and at Bayside, three incredible artists will soon bring bold new murals to life.
During the festival, an empty space at Bayside will transform into the Street Art Studio, a live creative hub where artists produce murals and mixed media works in real time.
To Celebrate the works created inside the Street Art Studio, you're invited to the launch party where the gallery comes alive with music, entertainment and the chance to meet the artists behind the walls.
Across Bayside, a growing collection of murals now forms the Bayside Artwork Trail, transforming everyday walls into vibrant artworks waiting to be discovered.
At Bayside, Father Marker will transform Beach Street will bold lines and striking forms, turning a familiar wall into a powerful new mural for the festival and our community.
On Olsen Street loading dock, Sam Absurd will bring playful storytelling and layered colour to Bayside, creating a mural full character, imagination and unexpected detail.
At the Hoyts Cinema building on Thompson Street, Kitsune will introduce a mural rich in colour and symbolism, inviting you to pause, look closer and discover something new.
